More Konecranes electric RTGs to reach Slovenian terminal

The Port of Koper operator in Slovenia, Luka Koper d.d., has ordered five electric Konecranes RTG cranes. The cranes will be equipped with cable reels featuring an auto plug-in system. They will be delivered in the summer of 2019. The contract was signed in June and the order was booked in Q2 2018.

Argentinean power plant operator opts for TPS crane

The Argentinian power plant operator AES Argentina Generacion S.A. (AES) has ordered a Terex Gottwald Model 2 portal harbour crane in the G HSK 2224 variant from Terex Port Solutions. From the end of 2016, AES will use the cargo handling machine in its 1,540 MW power plant in San Nicol?s de los Arroyos to unload coal imported from Colombia and South Africa.

Terex senior management changes

Terex Corp has made a number of senior management changes, including the appointment of Matt Fearon as president of Terex Aerial Work Platforms, replacing Tim Ford who becomes president of Terex Cranes. The president of Terex Cranes, Kevin Bradley, has become Terex?s chief financial officer while Steve Filipov assumed the presidency of Terex Material Handling & Port Solutions.
